Shipping Policy

  • Sunshine Kids Bedding will ship to all 50 states including Puerto Rico, Guam and military locations.

  • Most items will ship within 2 to 15 business days. Holiday seasons, large orders, custom items, special orders and out of stock items may take longer.

  • All orders are shipped via UPS. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes; you must supply an actual physical address.

  • Incorrect addresses will be subject to $15 UPS correction fee. Signature required option is available for UPS shipments upon request only.

    Furniture Shipments

    • Your order will ship via UPS ground (depending on item size and weight). Keep in mind, UPS will not notify you prior to delivery. If you choose to select a more rapid method such Third, Second or Next Day Air to guarantee delivery, an extra charge will be added to your total.

    • All items that exceed UPS shipping requirement will ship by truck via common freight carrier. They usually call one day in advance to schedule a delivery so be sure to provide us with a valid working phone number to avoid unnecessary fees by the shippers. Keep in mind, the driver is not obligated to unload or carry furniture inside your residence or business. However, more often than not, the driver will bring your order to your doorstep.

    • Assistance to the carrier personnel might be necessary especially, when the item you ordered is heavy and bulky. In which case, you will need someone to assist you unload and bring the furniture into your business or residence.

    • A signature is required at the time of delivery. Deliveries of all shipping methods are Monday through Friday excluding national holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.

     

    Receiving Your Order

    • When order is received, please inspect your package immediately after receiving to verify this is what you have ordered and that your merchandise is in satisfactory condition. We do not warrant returns, credits, and exchanges after your ten day claim period which starts the first day you receive your order.

    • In the rare event that your shipment arrives damaged, please be sure to note it on the carrier paperwork and contact us immediately with the part number so we could issue a rush replacement. If the package is clearly damaged, please refuse the shipment and note on the delivery paperwork “refused due to damage”

     

    Changing or Canceling Order

    We ask that you please make sure that your order is correct prior to submitting it to us. All orders placed before 2pm (PST) will be processed the same day. Should you need to cancel or change your order for any reason, please email us immediately at order@sunshinekidsbedding.com. We will make every effort to stop the items from being shipped. However, once the order is processed or is in transit, we will be unable to change or cancel. Then you will need to follow the Return Policy procedure.

     

    Return Policy

    • Your satisfaction is important to us, if you wish to return or exchange an item you may do so within 15 days from the date the item was delivered. You will be responsible for round trip shipping charge.

    • Due to safety and health concerns, returned merchandise must be in unused condition, unassembled and in its original packaging. We advise that you insure your package when returning merchandise, as we do not process return if we don’t receive merchandise.

    • Shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping costs for merchandise (other than damaged, defective, or incorrect) are the customer’s responsibility. Items will not be authorized for return after 15 days from the delivery date. Special order products or customized products are non refundable.

    • The return request must be sent to us in writing, please email our customer service at return@sunshinekidsbedding.com with the following information:

        1. Order number

        2. Product number and/or name

        3. Reason for return

        4. Type of return (Refund, Exchange, Replacement)

    • If an order is refused, shipping charges are non-refundable and a 15% restocking fees will apply.

     

    Damaged or Defective Merchandise

    • All items are warranted for 30 days from date of receipt by customer. If you receive items that are damaged or defective, please email customer service department at return@sunshinekidsbedding.com immediately to report damage. Please be sure to include order number, product number and/or name. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response, in many cases we will need to contact the manufacturer and report the damage. Returnable items which are damaged or defective will be issued a full credit if replacement is not possible. Non-returnable items (such as customized merchandise or final sales) which are damaged or defective will be replaced only.

    • Wrinkling of fabrics may be common for most 100% cotton, silk and bridal quality satin materials. Sunshine Kids Bedding and its manufacturer are not responsible for normal wear and tear, abuse, and mistreatment and damaged due to washing and shredded or worn fabrics in areas of usage for any of these materials. We also encourage you to read the care instruction information enclosed with each product before use.

     

    Sales Tax Policy

    California State law required that we charge a 7.75% sales tax to items sold and shipping within California. Sales tax is applied to the total amount of each order, excluding shipping charges. Items sold and shipped outside of California will not incur sales tax.

     

    Condition of Use

    • Sunshine Kids Bedding makes every effort to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. Color of bedding items may vary due to different browsers or color setting of certain computers.

    • In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error and/or wrong information received from our manufacturers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price whether or not the orders have been confirmed and credit cards have been charged. If your credit card has been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we shall immediately issue a full credit to your credit card account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it as described in our Return Policy.
